The IIMS is superbly located in the seaside town of Balbriggan, Dublin, just a 4-minute walk from the train station and a 20-minute drive from Dublin Airport. Our dedicated team of music educators, conductors and facilitators work hard to create a positive, friendly and fun learning environment. Our facility has been purpose built with choirs and music ensembles in mind.

The IIMS is home to award-winning conductor and music educator Dr. Michael T. Dawson. Michael has toured the world as a conductor & singer and specialises in healthy singing, tuning, performance technique & new music.
His workshops are perfect for community choirs, orchestras, wind bands, children and youth choirs, barbershop choruses & quartets and acappella groups.
Groups can book masterclasses and clinics with Michael while staying at or visiting the institute.
