Yassmin Alers, Dance Captain of the Original Broadway production of Rent, and dancer in the upcoming Speilberg movie of West Side Story shares her passion and her best tips for dancing in these 1 hour in-person workshops. Yassmin is a native New Yorker of Latin descent, who has been working professionally in the performing arts as a singer, dancer, actor for over 30 years. Her credits run the gamut from Off-Broadway & Broadway shows, National & International tours, Television and contemporary Film.

The 2 dance workshops will be held in the outdoor amphitheatre at the Irish Institute of Music’s Balbriggan campus, and each will cater to a different group.

Workshop 1: 3:30pm to 4:30pm - Under 18’s/Beginners

Workshop 2: 5:00pm to 6:00pm - Intermediate (12years and up)
