Business Development Manager / Lecturer
Brian’s background in business development has seen his work span
across the arts, broadcast and construction industries. As a
composer/sound artist specialising in using the inner ear as a musical
instrument, Brian’s academic research in psychoacoustics has seen his
work presented globally.
As Producer of the iTunes Award-winning Irishman Abroad Podcast
Network (2013-22), Brian is one of the most experienced podcast
producers in Ireland. Noteworthy projects include composing the music
for Keith Barry’s The Dark Side tour (including 12 nights at Dublin’s
Olympia theatre) and writing / presenting the RTÉ Lyric FM documentary Why Music Can’t Stay Still.
Brian’s previous teaching experience includes lecturing Acoustics &
Psychoacoustics at Maynooth University’s Music Department, where he successfully completed his PhD in 2017.
